May 10, 2007 - Starhub Singapore signs mobile content deal with Kamera
Kamera’s mobile comedy channel Vidiots, featuring over 6,000 hilarious home video bloopers, has been picked up by Asian mobile operator StarHub, in Singapore.

Vidiots, which joins such heavyweight comic hits as ‘Mr Bean’, will be available to StarHub’s 3G customers as a clip service, with new bloopers being updated every week. StarHub, Singapore's second largest info-communication company, has since 2005 been offering a rich array of video content, catering to different segments of its mobile customer base.

Henrik Eklund, CEO Kamera said, ‘We’re delighted that StarHub has selected Vidiots  to add to its mobile content offering. This comedy channel works brilliantly for the mobile consumer, and is ideal for the international market.

Vidiots, which was launched by Kamera six months ago, has already been picked up by a variety of mobile operators such as Singtel Singapore, Geocell in Georgia, as well as online publishers such as Vi Menn, Norway.

In addition to Vidiots, Kamera works with the world’s leading news agency Associated Press to produce, package and distribute the international sports service SportCall and the entertainment news channel WOW!TV, which is carried by over 40 web sites and mobile operators worldwide.
